Our Vision
Vision

What is Redeemer trying to do? Our mission is to encourage, equip, and empower people to faithfully follow Jesus and to reach others for Him.
Essentially built from Jesus' call to His disciples, "Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men," we desire to help—encourage, equip, and empower—people do just that: follow Jesus and reach others for Him.
How does Redeemer seek to do this? At the broadest level our strategy is Gather Together, Get Trained, and Go Tell.
We Gather Together on Sunday mornings for our Worship Gatherings. We worship God through song together, hear the Word of God preaced, pray and fellowship together, celebrate Communion once a month, and more.
Then, we offer opportunities to Get Trained. In order to help people follow Jesus and reach others for Him we offer a number of opportunities to get trained: Adult Sunday School, Community Groups, Men's and Women's Ministries, and the Get Trained Institute.
Finally, our strategy wouldn't be complete without our Go Tell initiatives. We Gather Together, we Get Trained, and then we Go Tell others. We encourage people live with great gospel intentionality first in their neighborhoods, second in Redeemer's neighborhood, and third everywhere else God takes them.
In fact this entire strategy is aimed at one very crazy goal—to give every man, woman, and child within Redeemer's "circle of accountability" the repeated opportunity to hear, understand, and respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
How does Redeemer know when it's successful? We believe we're making good progress whenever more and more of our people are growing in the following five measures:
1. Developing their relationship with God, rooted in the gospel, through His Word and prayer on a daily basis
2. Demonstrating the fruit of the Holy Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control) in all of their personal relationships
3. Deploying their spiritual gift(s) for the good of others in all of life (not just inside the walls of our church)
4. Dripping their grace testimony into various conversations as opportunities arise
5. Engaging in Go Tell initiatives with their neighbors, Redeemer's neighbors, and everyone else God brings their way.
