Our Vision and Mission
Our Vision
Our vision is to build a Strong Redeemer that's Engaging Our Community and Reaching the World.
By a Strong Redeemer we mean a church led by strong, morally and spiritually qualified men, centered on a robust gospel and doctrinal foundation, driven by a biblical mission to love God and others, fueled by the great generosity of our people, focused on equipping followers of Jesus for life and service, empowered by devoted prayer, and intent on being a blessing outside the walls of our church.
By Engaging Our Community we mean a church unsatisfied with the status quo of a "holy huddle," filled with people living missional lives in their families, neighborhoods, workplaces, and other spheres of influence, meeting needs in our city with tangible acts of love and service, faithfully sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ, and prayerfully and financially supporting worthy causes in our community.
By Reaching the World we mean a church extending its influence around the globe, developing a world-vision in our people, praying for and financially supporting strategic mission efforts, and even sending out our own short and long-term missionaries to be a Christ-centered blessing to the nations.
Our Mission
Our mission is to love God, our families, our church, our community, and the world through Jesus Christ—and to help others do the same.
The two greatest commandments are to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself. So, the key word in our mission is love. First and foremost, we are to love God. And then, we are to love our neighbors. Working out in concentric circles from our central love for God, it seems that our neighbors include our family members, those in our church, the people in our community, and the nations around the world. While the manifestations of our love for each may differ, we are to love them all deeply. But not only do we want the people of Redeemer doing just that, but also we want them going a step further into ministry and helping others do the same.
Our mission is summarized in Redeemer's logo.

The logo is a cross, reminding Redeemer that we have been redeemed through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross, and that the basis and power of all our love for God, our families, our church, our community, and the world is Jesus Christ. The large point in the middle of the cross represents our love for God—it is central and it is largest. The four surrounding points represent our love for family, church, community, and world.
