Mitch Maher has served as Redeemer's Lead Pastor since August 2008. He's a graduate of both the University of North Texas and Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS), enjoys preaching and teaching the Scriptures, and is very excited about what God is doing at Redeemer. Mitch is married to Tara and they have three daughters, Macy, Molly, and Maddy.
Forrest has long served as a Community Group Leader at Redeemer, and among other roles, he's also taught faithfully in our Adult Sunday School. Forrest is a graduate of the University of North Dakota and has worked for Shell Oil Company for years in many roles, currently a Manager of Human Resources. He is married to Susan, and they have two kids, David and Rachel.
Brian and his family have been apart of Redeemer for a number of years, and in that time has served in several different ministries, including Student Ministry and Kids Ministry. Brian is originally from here, in the Houston area, and currently works as a custom home builder for Quintessa Homes. Brian is married to Shelli, and enjoys spending time with their children, Matthew, Chloe, and Issac. In regard to the people of Redeemer Community Church, Brian's passion is for truth and evangelism.
Another wonderful layman in our church, Erin serves as a Community Group Leader, a Junior High Sunday School Teacher, and a faithful member on our World Missions Team. A graduate of both West Point and Duke University, he's an ophthalmologist with Berkeley Eye Center. Erin is married to Paulene, and they have six kids: Frederick, Alaric, Charlotte, Peter, Benjamin, and Charis.
Matt has been at Redeemer since May 2012. An Aggie and a DTS graduate, Matt loves to shepherd and encourage people, helping them to grow strong through God's Word. Among the variety of roles he carries at Redeemer, Matt is chiefly responsible for our Community Group Ministry and helping new folks find a home at Redeemer. Matt is married to Jenn and they have three daughters, Ellie, Chloe, and Emma Kate.
Bethany provides leadership to our Nursery - 5th Grade Ministry. She's also an Aggie (Early Childhood Studies), and loves to apply her ABCs to the ministry: it's All about Jesus, Because we care, and Creative crafts and activities. Bethany is married to Guy and they have three children, Hannah, Maddy, and Weston.
Chris has been apart of Redeemer since early 2007, and in that time, has served in several different ministries, including Kids Ministry as well as a Community Group Leader. Chris moved around a lot in his growing up years, but probably would call Southern California home. He currently works as an Exploration Manager for Chevron. Chris and his wife Kathy enjoy spending time with their children, Megan, Daniel, AJ and Abby. In regard to the people of Redeemer Community Church, Chris is passionate about building strong and faithful families. He seeks to encourage the Body of Christ to be connected with each other and to the communities where they live.
Jared has been at Redeemer since August 2012. A graduate of Anderson University (Indiana) and the Kanakuk Institute, Jared served on staff with Kanakuk Kamps and K-Life for years. He's passionate about sharing Biblical truth in the context of relationships with junior and senior high students. Jared is married to Lauren, and they have two daughters, Della and Jovie.
Pastor - Redeemer en Español
Antonio Muñoz is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute (B.A., 2001) and Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M., 2005). He has pastored churches in Mexico City, Chicago and Dallas and launched Redeemer en español in October 2016. Antonio is married to Becky and they have two daughters, Jessica and Susanna.
Sara serves our church as the front office reception and handles all administrative responsibilities. She is married to Kyle and they have two children, Macynn and Micah.
Mark has served as Redeemer's Worship Leader since 2000 and was a solo Christian artist in his earlier years. He graduated from Texas A&M with a B.S in Industrial Distribution and had a touring contemporary Christian band while in school. His day-job is Vice President of Operations for Wells Kimich Office Furnishings in Houston. Mark worked as a volunteer leader for Young Life for five years, served as an Area Director with Young Life in West Houston for seven years and has earned a MABS degree from DTS. He is passionate about ministry and music and has taught all levels of Sunday school from Kindergarten through adults, and also served on our Elder Team. Mark is married to Julie, and they have three children, Bekha, Kelsey, and Jarrod.
