Bill Freund
A self-described "farm boy from Iowa, stuck in a city!" Bill graduated from North Scott High School in Eldridge, Iowa, after which he worked six years as a grounds keeper. It was during this time he came to know Jesus Christ as his Savior. Soon after, Bill felt led by God to pursue working with students, so he quit his job and headed to Colorado Christian University.
Bill says his four years at CCU were used by God to grow him "tons" and instill within him a lifelong calling to students. After graduating in May 1990 with a Bachelor's in Youth Ministry, he moved to Katy, Texas where he met Jean. They soon married and have been doing student ministry in Katy ever since!
Bill tends to have more energy than brains (those are his own words), but he's thankful that God still loves him! He also claims to be the most fortunate guy in the entire universe and has been given much more than he deserves—a great wife, cool kids (Drew and Jessica), an incredible job, and an AWESOME SAVIOR!!!
