Taking the Gospel to our community and across the world.

Our purpose of experiencing the JOY of following Jesus and helping others do the same is lived out in taking the Gospel to our community and the nations around the world. Throughout the year there are numerous opportunities to serve others through established ministry partnerships, both locally and globally. Whether you desire to serve meals to those who are hungry, be part of building a church or a home, or use your gifts to love and teach others the word of God, you'll have an incredible opportunity to bring the good news of the gospel to the world.

Compassion International exists to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name. In a world where over 1 billion children live on less than $2 US each day, child sponsorship is the most strategic way to end child poverty, especially when it is integrated into a holistic approach to child development. Redeemer Kids Ministry has chosen to focus its global missions efforts in partnership with Compassion. Find out more here. (link to www.compassion.com).

With the audacious dream of seeing every man, woman, and child in Katy being given the repeated opportunity to see, hear, and respond to the Gospel of Jesus, Christ Together Katy is a group of pastors in our city who gather regularly to consider how that dream might become a reality. Global Missions

OMF International (formerly the China Inland Mission and Overseas Missionary Fellowship) was founded by James Hudson Taylor in 1865. OMF International serves the church and brings the gospel to many of the countries in East Asia, seeking to help place Christians with professional skills in China and other Asian countries and share the love of Christ with East Asians worldwide. Through God's grace, they aim to see an indigenous, biblical church movement in each people group of East Asia, evangelizing their own people and reaching out in mission to other peoples. For over 50 years, SEND has started churches among unreached people groups. SEND has more than 600 missionaries in 20 plus countries and has a variety of long-term and short-term opportunities for you to share the gospel in places where Christ is not yet known. Camino Global is committed to reach and serve Spanish speakers worldwide, seeking to serve the Church, transform communities, equip believers, and reach the world. This is a shared journey of spiritual transformation with Spanish speakers. The word 'camino' is translated from Spanish as “journey”, “path” or “way.” Jesus Christ is the gateway and the path itself ("I am the way, the truth and the life" / "Yo soy el camino, la verdad, y la vida," John 14:6). Today about 350 million people do not have the Bible in their own language. Wycliffe’s vision is to see the Bible accessible to all people in the language they understand best. To make this vision a reality, Wycliffe also focuses on community development, literacy development and church partnerships. Redeemer Community Church has resourced the New Testament translation for the Whitesands People on the South Pacific island of Tanna in the country of Vanuatu. We celebrated the completion of this project in early 2015 and have continued our support for other unreached people groups. Find out more here. (link to www.wycliffe.org)
