Our goal in Women's Ministry is to evangelize and disciple women, encouraging them to become mature followers of Christ. We challenge women with biblical principles to help them realize their full potential in their distinctive make up and calling as women. We especially encourage older women to teach and disciple younger women.
To achieve this goal we plan different activities, each presenting truth in an atmosphere of friendship, fun and encouragement.
Women's Outreach Events
Each year we plan several events for women to invite their friends to come and enjoy time together and hear the gospel. Some recent events include: Fall into Fellowship Recipe Swap, a Christmas Tour of Homes, a Spa Night, and a Mother Daughter Banquet.
The next event will be a Women's Advance Oct 10th and 11th. Rumor has it there may be chocolate involved! Go to the events page for details and to register.
Retreat
Every two years a Women's Retreat is planned. It's a great time away in a beautiful place, to spend time with the Lord and each other, to be refreshed and renewed.
Women's Studies
We have a Women's Evening Study on Monday evenings in a home and a Women's Daytime Study at the church. Some recent studies we have done are Daniel, Biblical Womanhood at Home, Overcoming Fear & Discouragement.The fall semester will start in September. Both day and evening groups will be doing: Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World.
Titus 2
This is a ministry that pairs an older woman with a younger woman. They meet where and when it fits in their schedules. They meet for encouragement, friendship, teaching and learning.
