Redeemer Rumble Golf Tournament and Awards Dinner!
On Sunday afternoon, March 7, 2010 Redeemer Community Church is hosting a 4-Player Scramble Golf Tournament at The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch—The Redeemer Rumble! Whether you've been playing for years or have never lifted a club, The Rumble is for you! Before you say NO WAY, hear us out—it's a Scramble!
What’s a Scramble? It’s the secret that says to EVERYBODY, “Come play, whether you’re good or not—it’s a blast!” In a scramble, each player on your team tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players play their second shots from that spot. The best of the second shots is determined, then all play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed. So, even if you’ve never swung a club, the Scramble format says, “No problem! Come play!”
- This year, women are welcome to play.
- When you register, you'll tell us if you're an A-Player (I've played some golf, and try to play 4 to 5 times a year) or B-Player (I'm in no way a golfer, but I'd like to play).
- We'll divide up the teams as evenly as we can, and hope for a competitive tournament!
