We're here to help your kids love and obey God. Our kid-loving teachers utilize our Bible-saturated curriculum to provide not only a safe and fun atmosphere, but one that will nurture the truth of God into your child's heart.
Redeemer Kids Teachers
Our teachers are the perfect compliment to the excellent curriculum that is taught to our children. They truly love these kids and are dedicated to teaching them about knowing and following Jesus. It is so rewarding to see the fruits of their labor emerge as our children grasp the profound yet simple concept of accepting Jesus as their Lord and following Him with their lives. Come join us! Redeemer Kids Ministry - for Nursery - 5th Graders
From our Elementary Director, Tara:
We'd love for your elementary kids (K-5th) to join us Sunday! Here's what we're up to-
While you're in one of our two adult classes (9:15-10:15), your kids will have a large group worship time where they have some kind of crazy competition game, sing songs, and pray. Then they break into their classes and study their Bible lesson for the week. We are leading them through Discipleland curriculum right now. The kids seem to really enjoy it!
We hope you'll then leave them with us second hour (10:15-11:35). The kids will go with their teachers into the sanctuary for our time of singing, then return to their classes when the sermon starts. They will work on Scripture memory and hear our story of the week from the Jesus Story Book Bible, where they are learning how "every story whispers His name." They get small group time as well where they discuss the story and build relationships with the teachers. It's a new ministry for us and a very exciting one.
Your kids will be well taken care of and it's our delight to have them with us each week. We are sensitive to allergies and if we serve any snacks, its generally goldfish or graham crackers. Although we do serve donuts occasionally and have cupcakes for various celebrations. Just let us know about your childs allergies and we'll keep them safe!
From our Preschool Director, Bethany:
We would love to have the opportunity to serve your child in our preschool program, (infants to 5 year olds) . Our teachers and volunteers prepare weekly Bible stories, crafts, and other fun Bible related activities. Please know that your child will be in a safe, nurturing, and loving environment while they are in the Redeemer Preschool Ministry.
First time to visit?
If it's your first time at Redeemer and you have kids you want to participate in our kids classes, you'll be directed to a Kids Greeter who will have you fill out a registration card and show you to your classes. She remains in the halls during church so if your little one is having a hard time away from you she can come get you. Our greeters do a great job making sure your kids are having a blast! The older kids (4 year olds through third graders) may go to the playground so dress them comfortably.
