The King is heralded before His arrival. In the fervent expectation of the arrival of the Messiah, many faithful individuals make preparations for Him. One such figure was John the Baptist, who was spoken of by Isaiah: “I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way for the Lord.’”
